Are the Brain Freeze Margaritas machines easy to use?
Yes indeed! We demonstrate mixing your first batch for you and show you how to use the machine.
We leave simple mixing instructions.
When do I need to add an RBS-certified server?
Some larger venues require Brain Freeze Margaritas to remain onsite and operate the machines throughout the event. When this applies, an RBS-certified server will be added to your booking for an additional fee. We’ll confirm any venue requirements with you before finalizing your reservation.
How many drinks does one mix yield?
One batch of the margarita mix makes about 70-75 eight-ounce drinks. Our mixing guides for each flavor give you more specific information on how many drinks each flavor will yield. We suggest using 8 or 9 oz cups to ensure that the machines can keep up with volume.
How long does the first batch take?
Approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Depending on location set up and correct power. We also need to plan for outside heat, please keep the machine out of direct sunlight on a hot day! Outside heat and direct sunlight can effect machine performance. Test a drink for consistency, then and let it go! There is a notification light located on the front of the unit telling you the mix in the unit is getting low. At that time the user decides to make an additional batch of delicious mix! Depending on whether the machine is indoors or out can vary the freezing time. Once the machine completes the first freeze cycle, it’s nonstop for the rest of the night.
Who provides the liquor and what liquor is recommended?
The customer provides all the necessary spirits. You will need to provide 2 to 3 liters of alcohol based of the strength and type of drink being made.
Brain Freeze Margaritas, Chowchilla does not sell, distribute, supply, nor provide alcohol.
Renter assumes full responsibility and liability in regards to guests that consume alcohol.

How far in advance of my event should I book my machine?
We recommend two weeks and longer for the summer season and longer for traditional party dates like Halloween, Christmas and New Years Eve and the Super Bowl. You can always contact us at the last minute to check our availability.

What is the cancellation policy?
Any orders that are not cancelled within 72 hours of the delivery date will be subject to a $50.00 fee! We understand plans change, weather happens, but give us a call and let us know!

What do I need when Brain Freeze Margaritas installs the machine?
We will need to speak with the person responsible for running the machine. We will provide a tutorial on how to operate the machine as well as mix the first batch of drink mix. In addition to the tutorial we will leave operating instructions for any questions you might have in addition to being available via the telephone to answer any questions.
How big are the machines, and what are the power requirements?
The machines are about the size of a personal suitcase and come on a wheeled cart. They require a standard 120 Standard household plug. Don’t worry we will walk you through more logistics when we schedule your event.
Do I have to clean the machine before you pick it up?
No. Just turn the machine off when your party is over.
Helpful Hints
If you have not rented a machine before, you may be surprised to learn that 50-70% of your guests will choose the frozen drinks over beer and wine. This means you can probably get by with providing less beer and wine.
Keep margarita machines in the shade during daytime operation.
Use a dedicated 120V, 15-20 amps circuit for each machine. If you don’t know what that means, call us!
Heavy-duty extension cords (12 gauge) are provided with each rental. Please do not use any other cords. Extension cords provided are typically 25 ft and should not exceed 50 feet total length.
Please tell us when you make your reservation if we will encounter any steps or stairways during delivery. If so, there must be one or more healthy adults around to help the delivery person.
Unauthorized transportation of machine(s) will result in a $500 fine. Please do not attempt to relocate, lift or otherwise move machines.
